no it wasn't. if i was concentrating on minute detail i wouldnt be submitting my art to threadless...i see a lot of well detailed art get passed by because of other dumb reasons. if its not one thing, it will be something else...and for someone to complain about such small detail on someone else's art yet their own art doesnt follow that principle, i'm not going to see it as "constructive criticism".

And I fail to see how HoffaTheToasterDog isn't practising what he preaches. For instance, the lightbult on his "Bright" shirt features all the necessary parts of a lightbulb. It's got the bulb, the filament, the screwy bit, and is connected to a plug which will provide a source of power.



Your chainsaw, on the other hand, well, it's missing not just a tiny detail, but a vital part of what makes it a chainsaw. I don't see why it's not valid to point that out.

and i'll tell you why: the idea is pretty weak (bad girls ? what a clichée!). the drawing itself is HORRIBLE (in my point of view), there ain't no style, it looks totally cheap, and, besides, it's kinda oversized.

Well i must say this design really gives the power to the woman... does not portray her as just a body in any way... just look how her clothing is ripped and strategically placed over her sexual parts. Oh and how tastefully thin her waist is and large her breasts are. No. she won't be lusted after at all, but respected for her strength and chainsaw.
