Well ! i hope that my translation mean what i want to say "Life gives knocks my son... but you have to get up and make forehead !"
I mean a father explain to his son, of the hardness of the life, that we can see on his body...

in french : "Dans la vie tu prends des coups mon fils... mais tu dois toujours te relever et faire front !"

Si un parfait bilingue peut me soumettre une meilleure tranduction ou c'est bon comme cà ;)

I don't think you translated it correctly, I know what you are trying to say, but the english isn't correct.

Maybe you don't need the text...

This is how Babel Fish (http://world.altavista.com/) translates it:

" In the life you take to blows my son... but you must always be raised and make face. "

It must be some type of idiom (i.e. it loses something in the translation).

To me , the saying resembles the American saying "When you fall off the horse you just have to get back on." Thus, when used in this way, of a father bowling pin teaching his son this life leason it's a bit funny; because bowling pins receive a lot of knocks in the "life".

That's it WTFisinmypants,
The pin bowling father, tell his son that life give lot's of blows (we can see it on his face), and sometimes it make him fall, but he always stand up and make face to the (life = black ball of bowling)...

Maybe someone can find a good translation or a typical american saying...

for a 2eme submission, thanks !

"Son, life may give you a beating, but you've got to stand up for yourself!" might be a good translation, mais je suis d'accord avec les autres, gardez le francais...

You could try: " Life knocks hard sometimes, but you should always get up and face it."

um, there's no equivalent expression in english, you know. "to make forehead" means nothing in english. Your shirt seems to make sense but the text is pretty strange to us.

Yes, graphics are cool, just leave it in french and if the wearer so chooses to, they can explain it. i have to explain mine sometimes, as they say c'est la vie!
