All I have to say is "Stay Puff Marshmellow Man....BRILLIANT!!" A little bit of Guiness humor there. I have to agree with Travis76 on this one. This shirt serves two purposes. First, it brings back old skool memories of the orinial Ghostbusters movie (Reason enough for me). Second, the shirt is a back hand to the face of the band wagon patriots. I give it proton packs!

sorry no font change because that is the actual "ghostbusters" font
origanaly the "o" in "forget" was the ghostbusters symbol but that had to be changed because of copyrights so frankly i could care less about any one not liking the font because that means you dont like ghostbusters an that means you shouldn't like the shirt so oohhhhhhhh weeeeellllllllll thax for the input though |

Would any darker colours be considered? I'd love a night time-ish black/dark blue with yellow windows, but theres that pesky four colour limit isn't there? Still would appreciate a darker option if the grey windows looked alright with it. |

This shirt is great. The Ghostbusters movie does actually have the World Trade Center in it; I don't think this shirt is tasteless at all. Has anybody ever seen a shirt on Threadless that could possibly have had legal pitfalls? Also, there is a point in the movie where he does have an angry look on his face.

That red Hitchcock shirt has legal ramifications. So does this one. There are likely others, as well. Stay-Puf® IS a protected image [looked it up]. If Threadless researches this stuff, they'd know, but I don't think they're concerned until it becomes likely a shirt might actually get produced. At that point, money might change hands for the image/tee and they're in more serious violation. Cease and desist-stype, though, which is minor. Take the money... run.

Thanks, for the detective work caption but these allegations are false
after many searches at http://www.copyright.gov/records/ and Google of any word in the title " Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man", its "stay-puft" not "stay-puf", not a single copyright, trademark, or right reservation was found, and I’m sure threadless knows this. Seeing as it is their job to look these things up and I’m sure their checking system is better than mine and yours. So until I see, or threadless sees, a document or anything like, these are indeed false allegations. |
