it's kinda like the thing on the nerd bird shirt, just with drips and without the bird.
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 08 '05
yeah, i was a little dissapointed that argyle had already been done, but i figured if people didn't like it, it wouldn't get made. no harm no foul...or something
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 08 '05
burntfly -- is that good that it makes you want to hurt children? i can't really tell what you're saying.

holy shit. for real?
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 09 '05
well, i'm assuming that means he doesn't like the shirt, but what about an argyle pattern makes you want to hurt children?
you should maybe see a therapist for that

jmac on Mar 09 '05
Looks best in grey, but the drips aren't very detailed.. maybe work on that. Can't say that I would wear it though.

cameoflage
cameoflage on Mar 09 '05
then give it a zero fag. i didn't do it to look like the nerd bird shirt, he didn't invent the argyle pattern.

Atila
Atila on Mar 11 '05
thats almost an exact copy of an active shirt...is there something against that on this site? that shirt is excatly what active sells minus the drips and a few more rows, exact same design though. gave you a zero for copying
moww
moww on Mar 11 '05
Me too, Atila. I definately recognize this shirt.
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 11 '05
ok, whoever used that design for their shirts, they copied it also because that pattern has been around for quite some time. it's called the 'argyle' pattern.

this is gay! just joking....

i actually really like this... hmmm - the argyle preppiness mixed with the drips is so good! make tha drips a bit more detailed or thinner and stick it on the chocolate t and id buy it for sure

to everyone else: sure - the nerdbird - the nerdbird... how about you get some design education outside of threadless? heaps of shirts on threadless use similar styles... this pattern is used on heaps and heaps of shirts/vests/jumpers... thats the whole point. he is taking a fashion classic and giving it a creative twist.
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 12 '05
thank you, jmonkey. i'm glad someone here realized that they didn't make up the argyle pattern for the nerdbird shirt.

look, we know that nerd bird didn't invent argyle... but I think there's at most a market for one argyle shirt. Just... stop it with argyle stuff.
vlcmston
vlcmston on Mar 14 '05
this is my first argyle shirt, give me a break. i just like the pattern
dirkeelen
dirkeelen on Mar 15 '05
that's odd. Cameoflage saying " then give it a zero fag. i didn't do it to look like the nerd bird shirt, he didn't invent the argyle pattern."
How come he says "i didn't do it...'

i think this is a good idea and i agree with the people who are saying add more detail to the "blood"... but i dont think it would work best with brown... argyle is kind of a preppy thing and i think it would better on a shirt that was green or blue maybe... that just my opinion though
