I'm disgusted by this design and baffled I'm the only one challenging it so far. Eating babies. Really?! Eating adults would have gotten the same joke across. I wish the artist luck with other designs, but I'm hoping this one gets no further than the artist's portfolio. 0

If "taking a joke" is dependent on us laughing at the idea of you eating our son as a means of apologizing or at animals soaked with babies' blood gorging on babies, then you are right, we are incapable of laughing at that. If you are apologizing the best way you know how, then we accept. Good luck on your future designs.

mreisel on Jun 13 '11 I collaborated with Aaron on this design and I love it. I'm a vegetarian and a parent. The inspiration for the design was me watching in horror as people wolfed down hot dogs on July 4th as sport. As a vegetarian, this appalled me, but I wasn't offended. As a parent, I'm also terrified by the fact that most of the Nile crocodile's human victims are children who wander too close to the river. Awful! The outcome of this design is two-fold for me, all life is precious and watch your ass out in the wild!

For example, I imagine you look like Galactus, and up until recently I thought Randyotter’s name was Randy (Otter). Similarly, you don’t know mlovesr. She is neither self-righteuous, nor is she a bear.
She is awesome, though, and she loves babies and art and t-shirts, and also wants people to make whatever kind of art they want and she also wants to be able to say what she wants. She’s also really nice, which is why she made a point of separating the artists from the design here and not saying stuff like “You must be a jerk to make a design like this” or “Threadless, please take this down” or “You draw too many robots and they all look the same.” Anyways, I just wanted the world to know that my wife is cool. |

I love how much heat this design has generated.
I am also a father and think this shirt is hilarious. It's hilarious because it's true. OBVIOUSLY we would not find this funny if this contest was really happening. But these animals would eat babies if they had a chance. People who are offended by this and then head over to McDonalds for lunch..... Anyway, NICE WORK! |

It saddens me to have a feud, but I'm sure we've all learned lessons here. Huh? @dylan.thomas I’m not sure which people are offended and then heading to McDonalds. Based on the comments, Mlovesr seems to be the only one here who is offended, and she’s a vegetarian.
