making the lines thicker will definitely help the illus come alive. :)

I like the idea, but feel the execution could use perfecting. I agree with retro above me, thicker line and generally more definition of the feathers will help. Adding more tar would help too. Like having the 'background' as tar, and then the 'foreground' as the feathers. I could see this printing with the right execution.
