XIV, something like your 'Liquid Core' design seems highly original, mixing styles like that. I think the reason I was taken back by this submission was because of the mountains and the circle. I think you could do something similar without using such a similar concept. Believe me, I really like this design, but If I were Dan Mountford, I would be upset if this were printed. Yes, you do have a point though; There is little room for 100% uninspired originality.

I used to follow geography, and always found topographic maps fun and interesting (or maps in general.) It's a nice design, good fusion of stock imagery.
