I really like the concept but i'm not sold on the excecuton. All the lines in the beaver have the same weight--there needs to be more contrast in line weight there. The tail is at a 3/4 perspective, while the rest is two-dimensional...that could probably be fixed just by changing the position of the back leg a bit and adding a hint of the back leg on the far side of the beaver...that way the position would look a bit more natural. I like the detailing on the tail, though. The black of the shadow is a little bit too much, it's inadvertently drawing the eye first. Maybe a crosshatch or a lighter color there. The style of the type doesn't seem to relate much to what you're saying (think: what kind of font would be on police patrol stationary?, etc.), although i do like how the outliney-ness of it keeps it from being too blocky. Also the words are too distant from the rest of the design, they look like a whole separate entity. Sorry for all the wordyness, I just had a huge cuppa coffee! Again, overall a cool idea.

P.S. trying giving the Beaver a little more character, i.e....is he a fat Irish cop sort of beaver patroller, or what? Of course if you go at it the other way around, where he's HUNTED by the beaver patrol, maybe he should look a bit more nervous and freeked-out.

P.P.S. This is the last one! I swear! Yeah, it's definitely a concept that's been done before but if the beaver has something unique about it, it puts a great new funny twist on it.
