Looks great! Dig the details, such as the shield and wings.

(You know, this reminds me of another design called Lord of the Butterflies... I couldn't stand the book the Lord of the Flies, though. The idea of innocent kids becoming monsters and one of them falling off a cliff isn't very appealing. ;) But anyway... back to your design...)

It looks really cool, but I feel like this design is missing something. The dragonflies bodies look strange, particularly their hands are a bit creepy.. While the moon is a nice touch, is it a stock photo? Make sure it isn't copyrighted. I would have preferred if you drew it yourself though. I like the detailed wings and the shield. And the color choice is very good (the blue one), along with your placement. Is this design based on the book, or is there some other idea behind it -- it's not clear, and not everyone has read Lord of the Flies. Btw, I like your animated gifs. ;) Anyway, this design does look cool, and I'm giving it a 4.

AweAndWonder, thanks for the honest critique. This design doesn't have anything to do with Lord Of The Flies, except the punny title. It was the best of some names people helped with in the blogs. I do love that book though. I wanted the dragonflies to look slightly creepy, a bit Tim Burtonesque. And the moon image is a public domain image I sourced that there shouldn't be any usage issues. I did experiment with drawn backgrounds, but I preferred it with the photo. anyway, thanks for looking.
