Very nice work!

Nice. The idea is cool, and I like the style. It's cool how you made the grass.. But it seems kind of empty/unbalanced to me. I can't quite put my finger on it. I don't know how I feel about the overlapping animals -- looks kind of strange. I might like it better if there were some trees in the background, or if they were all one color except the boy.... I don't know. But that could just be me. Everyone else seems to really like it the way it is. 4

AweAndWonder, thanks for the critique. I played around with the composition for ages until I got what I thought was just right. The overlapping deer were to give them a ghost-like quality, perhaps they're not even there at all, just the boy who wants to be a one. I tried also to add background elements, trees, or sky, or anything, but I felt it kept detracting from what I wanted to be a simple graphical image.
