i really like this, but it took me a sec to realize that it was a lampshade on the ground. If you can make it clearer that it's a lampshade and not crumpled mini-blinds I'd totally buy this.

couldn't make out that that was a lampshade. since, you know, lampshades don't crumple. clear it up and get rid of the dots on the lightbulb.

I think it's really cute and like the idea, but the light bulb and surrounding halo of light look kind of clipart-ish...maybe you could improve that, then this would be a good design, both technically and idea-wise! Good luck!

maybe go a little more cartoonish with the bulb, like he's really breaking free of the conformity of his surroundings (ie, the shade)...or, whatever.
