Because 7 is a PRIME number. But it could have been any other prime number like, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97 to mention a few.
I think it's 7 for design reasons.
A prime number is a natural number that has exactly two distinct natural number divisors: 1 and itself.
I think this is a really clever idea! I like it. I can't help but feel it might execute better if he was a double digit prime number as the 7 does make his figure look a little strange...what if you made him one of the following? 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59, 61, 67, 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97

hahaha, you're really turning up the heat both conceptually and illustratively lately, we might have another Nathan Pyle on our hands (who incidentally made a very different sub about Opptimus and prime numbers...). Fun looking work.
