I am in love with this. All the art I've been making has been about growing up, this is so in key with... me. The only thing I would recommend is moving the boxes diagonally in one direction, most likely a little towards the upper right, just to balance the design a little better.

I hate to be a party pooper, but there seems to be at least six colors used on this shirt when the limit is four... Where you've used transparent areas of color in your design you have created various shades of pale brown, each of which would have to be printed as a seperate color. I'm fairly certain I'm right about this - someone please correct me if I'm mistaken! I don't feel the design needs the transparent squares anyway - the artwork is strong enough by itself. I really like the idea of the caterpillar chasing a butterfly, and the illustration is well exectuted.

hmmm, I wasn't sure about the transparents counting as seperate colors. well... if they did decide to print it I would change that. Thanks!

This? Is beautiful. Gorgeous. I hope you don't have to take the boxes out, but it's still fine without. Aaah so pretty. five and buy

Nice concept. Lose the boxes in the background, though.

5. buy. works w/o the boxes if it means too many colors.

i would resubmit it without the boxes but I've been too busy and there are better ones I have if you look at them...

I adore this design--it is so charming but in a very subtle way---the colors are great...they are a nice contrast to the subject matter. I would definitely buy this one.

While I agree that the design would work better without the boxes, *transparency does not mean more unique colors*. There are only TWO unique colors in this design. You can halftone the white ink to create those transparencies. Either way, I stick with no boxes. Great work. »5

Lose the transparent squares and it's a 5 and buy... great design and concept. I feel old!

jamco - when you print it you will have to print each of the halftones separately - thus creating more than four colors. but hey, i absolutely love this design. and it would look even better without the boxes. here's 5 from me...
