Alternate Title: "So It Goes"

I've been wanting to do a tribute picture to Kurt Vonnegut's brilliant book "Slaughterhouse Five" for a long time. This picture embodies the famous last line of the book and some of the events within. I guess this design is also a metaphor too, about how we can fail to take notice of disasters around us. The singing bird represents ignorance: people going about their everyday lives, not stopping to see what's going on around them in the world.

If this goes anywhere, or if people notice and comment about it, I may change the city a bit. Looking at it, the buildings look a bit too dark in color on the shirt: an easy fix.

I don't think the building look too dark; it separates them a bit from the obvious destruction heading their way.

Hi there! This looks quite nice :) I haven't read the book, so please correct me if I'm off. I guess I'm a bit confused about the tree...it looks a bit mushroomy to me. Perhaps this is the intension? I would decide which way you want to go with it...maybe a little more clarity or a little more abstraction. Right now it's just a bit unclear what you want to do with it.

Solid illo, very nice feeling going on there. But if I were you, I would not use blue for the bird, my first thought was "come on, ANOTHER twitter design, stop it already!" ^^;

That said, Twitter does not have the monopoly on blue birds, agreed.
