Alternate Title: "So It Goes"
I've been wanting to do a tribute picture to Kurt Vonnegut's brilliant book "Slaughterhouse Five" for a long time. This picture embodies the famous last line of the book and some of the events within.
I guess this design is also a metaphor too, about how we can fail to take notice of disasters around us. The singing bird represents ignorance: people going about their everyday lives, not stopping to see what's going on around them in the world.
If this goes anywhere, or if people notice and comment about it, I may change the city a bit. Looking at it, the buildings look a bit too dark in color on the shirt: an easy fix.
