Poor hedgehog. Cute and fun style. The text doesn't bother me but I would prefer if it was not so prominent; if it was tiny it might make it even cuter. Good luck.

Keep the text but put a **small** spatter of the "hug" red down on the bottom right corner.. maybe under one foot. You're missing ballance, which is why people can't take the lettering. Plus that would add a little bit of a story line to the design.
