The kind of darkness to be found in something like Arkham Asylum inked by Dave McKean, only with cleaner edges to the graphics here. Astute use of colour and light. Gripping stuff.

FRICKINAWESOME on Nov 23 '10 Oh man, I adore this illo's attention to detail, the reflection looks nearly photo realistic. Don't know if i dig the guy inside putting the gun to his head, maybe just pointing it at the window, going out in a blaze of gory glory.

This is great but the shadow is all wrong. The window on its own would be insane especially if it covered the entire shirt front.

I voted $5. I dig it as is. I think if it were just the window it would simply be another zombie-fest image, but with the guy on the inside it makes it more personal- it allows you to picture yourself in that situation and to feel the utter desperation and acceptance of death. Well done!

Made me think zombies, which I would love. Gun to the head is too much, and I could see myself buying it if it weren't for that. Still, amazing work.
