The concept of adding a reatro nerdiness to skateboarding is finshed. I would prefer a "real" nerd skateboard shirt far before this. Very poor.

Ouch, that's harsh. Where are your submissions Derec?

You definitely seem to have a style. It seems to rely on walking near the line of ugly. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Thanks man. I am happy to confuse you. I am just having a hard time hitting the trend that resonates on this site right now. I am kind of a left over from when Threadless first started and it was mostly old school designers using it as an outlet. I guess maybe it is time to pull out and stick to my client work. I just wish more of the people who post comments, actually had submissions so I could check them out and get an idea of where they are coming from.

I think vector art is the trend now. your stuff is cool but I think it's more punk and political than this site wants to be. I've only submitted one thing, mostly as a feeler.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head for sure.

And again, nice one. A 5 again...
I hear what you're saying about comments from non submitters. It's taking the piss really when some clown post's the most negative crap, and yet have nver submitted anything themselves. But it's always great to read something good, even a harse but true constructive crit is appreciatted.

Mr. Rocks thanks for the positive feedback. Your illustrations really are amazing, very Coop but with a personal flair. It sure would be cool to see some of your stuff in print.

Yeah, it is kind of corny. I guess sometimes I just have a kind of nerdy, corny sense of humor. Oh well.

Ahaha, that's tight. Brings back memories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. God I loved that show (AND THE MOVIES!)

cool if you take off the text and move the main image of the guy to another design on another website...

As a skater, I gotta say this is not an attractive shirt. You got me with the name, but I was dissapointed not the see some dumb guy on a surfboard. I like the skater himself, but the pink chalk is a bit repulsive. I do see the call out to old schoolthough.

He is on a skatboard not a surfboard. I was just making a reference to when skating started and instead of skateboards, they were called sidewalk surfboards. And I can see your point with the pink. I knew I was walking the line on that one. Thanks for the comment.

the pink is all good. infact it should be fluro, and there should be a cone somewhere... i do think the dudes pants and board are a little wrong if its retro, they look a little too now, the rest is sweet, go retro!!
