About my design
A full-rigged ship showed the seaman had sailed around Cape Horn. A swallow tattoo reflected the hope of coming home safely. Seamen who were dockhands had a rope tattooed around the wrist to show their profession. The words 'hold' and 'fast' tattooed on the knuckles were to prevent a sailor’s hand from slipping on lines...
This is a little homage to oldschool sailor tattoos and artists like Sailor Jerry and Ed Hardy.
