I just wanted to make sure I was clear with my earlier comment. I understand the design and really like it. I don't want to seem like I'm crapping on your idea. However, because it's three policemen beating a pinata, which is associated with Mexico, I think some people would interpret the meaning as being anti-Mexican/illegal immigration as that is a big issue here in the US.
I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing the design because I wouldn't want anyone misinterpreting the shirt and unfortunately I do believe a fair number of people would. I brought this up because I didn't know if the designers were aware that the design would be misread by some. |
