Ladies and gentlemen, behold! I present to you igo2cairo's fantastical, state-of-the-art air-ship, the absolute latest in luxury air travel.
For the Tenth Anniversary Challenge I set out to do a fun, celebratory design that hearkened back to my 1st print The Fantastic Voyage A cool old blueprint of a vintage zeppelin was my original inspiration and reference for this new design. I completely re-drew it and then integrated and jerry-rigged a number of my own elements to create this fanciful air-ship that exists solely in an imaginary past. For the passengers I decided to use a series of old Victorian portraits that have fallen out of copyright instead of illustrating them as I normally would. An unusual technique for me, but I think it works in this case. I know this isn't in a "classic Threadless" style but like to believe that in the future there will be new classics in different styles because Threadless has constantly evolved over the past ten years and will surely continue to do so. Sim process on creme. Thanks as always to Ninthwheel for the awesome tee template and to "The Graphics Fairy", a site that specializes in copyright-free vintage images. This is already available as a print in my Society6 gallery Promotions greatly appreciated. :) Links: High-res view of design Large view on creme tee |

fun fun fun stuff from the past's future! I like how you simplified your style for this yet kept it surprisingly complex.
