An iconic design is one that stands out from the rest and becomes something of influence or inspiration… whether it be in concept or in execution. A design that when printed, may have been deemed as junk, a little too ahead of its time or too different.

When initially produced, you can not place the label of 'iconic' on such imagery. Only time will tell if it's just another design for the catalog or a timeless, influential piece; a true icon.
