I think you should keep the blood but maybe make it a bit more subtle and well formed... right now it's very overbearing and kind of looks MS Paint-y. But I really love the concept.

The design's arguable anti-war message is hindered because, once one realizes that the red mess is supposed to be blood, it looks like planes menstruating. THAT image is what will stick with people.
Before I realized that you meant blood, I was trying to decipher what your red action was. My first guess was streamers. |

the transformation rocks, but the bloody lines dont. It would probably work better if you went along with the theme and had like...bird poop turning into bombs

i like the idea. alot. in fact, i love it. however, it will be perfect if you changed the blood to be a smaller amount of it, or more "contained"

yeah, I'd leave the blood out. if you really want to use it, I'd go ahead and keep it more contained.

I like the blood, I even like how it looks scribbly, but honestly, I think that a little bit of cleanup on that kinda.. bloby part of the blood would make it less distracting.. maybe even thinner lines that don't extend so far down. Love the concept and the rest of the shirt.

I also think a centered design might look a little better as well, wher eyopu have it placed on the kinda looks a little awkward.

I like it overall. It reminds me of these creepy re-occuring bomber dreams I have. I can't quite make up my mind concerning the blood, but I think it would look better if the graphic was a little more centered.

Is the bird supposed to be changing into a plane?
If so, image two and three need to be more transitionary. Right now it just looks like two giant birds beside two small jets. Cool idea, though. |

I love the concept, but the blood is distracting. Maybe blotted/fading blood around the plane instead. Cool, though. :)

Interesting idea. I think it would look better on a red shirt with the blood colour slightly darker, so the bloodiness is still there but more subtle.
The blood streams can be more fluid too. Perhaps it can serve as a partial background? Also, I wonder if having the series of images form a rising line, or changing their sizes to form a sense of depth, would make the graphics more interesting visually. Just a few thoughts. Good luck! :) |

the blood looks like you did it in paint in about two minutes. it would be a far stronger image if you had taken the time to make it more detailed and smoother. I like the bird and plane transition, but i almost want one more figure in the row.

i somewhat agree w/ samsara maybe if you had bombs instead of blood the idea of transfering from an image of peace to one of war/destruction would probably be even more clearly conveyed and it would probably make more sense stylistically . . . and it would probably be the easiest fix for the comments about the blood . . . which to me looks like a jelly fish. but the concept is BRILLIANT and i really think you should consider making changes and resubmitting b/c this needs to be printed but i can only give it a 4 as is.

To Floyds comment I just meant that its just very in your face. It makes you pay attention to it's message. If you dont care to see disturbing images then why are you here looking at them. It's ok I understand how closed minded people who prefer the softer censored version of reality can be. Just cover your eyes and turn up the volume of the carebears or whatever happy show you are obviously tuned into and we'll let you know when God has stretched out his had and granted world peace and it's safe to come out and play with the big kids. Idiot.
