A text-based design, implementing three typefaces I designed from scratch (available shortly on my site), as well as a modification of an existing typeface (Target, from T26.com). The Old English types (Fette Fraktur, and Blackhand) and Edwardian script were added strictly for spacing and the formatting of the overall piece.

This is a two color design that I chose to put on a white shirt, mainly because you rarely ever see fresh white shirts. I picked up a shirt in Philadelphia by Unified, and it really inspired me to do more work on a white background. I hope someone out there likes this, and feels like giving it a decent score.

I would love to hear some ideas people have for changes or deletions.

i love this design, it's very fresh... i would lose the edwardian script though, like the other fonts better... big 5 and a certain buy!!!

Not bad, if it weren't for the fact that the exact idea, layout, and similar style type had already been used on a shirt last year from Commonwealth Stacks.. Maybe try again, but instead of different words for cash, you could use various words for thievery.

ny, i was waiting for someone to say that, so that i could say this:

my idea is comletely original to and to myself. i'm familiar with his work, and i find it appaling you would dare compare the two. for one, they're nothing alike aesthetically. for two, michael leon didn't even come up with the idea himself probably. he probably even got the from the jasper johns print/collage piece of similar design. you probably gave me a 0 for a score, but it doesn't really both me, because you not a thing to say that was positive, which makes you a hater in many ways, and i don't respect comments from people with attitudes like yours.

oh yeah, and one more thing - i checked out the design again (cause another friend brought this to my attention), and found that we used THREE of the same words, which if you really think about it, just shows that i (1) didn't come to know about his shirt design until after i independently came up with the idea several months ago over thanksgiving break on my own, and (2) you're lame. email me if you'd like me to explain why you're lame more. an online thread is probably the lamest place to make fun of someone or something.

but hey, i'm a loser too, cause "arguing over the internet is like winning the special olympics..."

I'll admit it's not an original idea... but it has been executed better than the other versions I've seen. I like this .

I wouldn't buy it on white... only because I have a habit of spilling spaghetti O's and smearing bike grease on anything I own that's white. But I'm sure if you sent one to The Donanld he would wear it on his next season of The Apprentice. I love the green that you choose, its damn smooth with the black. I also love the all typographic solution. More shirts should be that way... Oh and one word I don't see on there, but I think shouldn't be overlooked is "Scrilla."

damn...i forgot scrilla. i like "cake" too, but as i look at the kevin lyons shirt, i'm happy i didn't think of that when i first had the idea.

Yo, D. Nice graphic. I'm feeling the colorway, layout and even choice of color for the shirt. Dudes be scared these days to rock them crispy, white tee's! The only thing I would flip would be the distribution of fonts for the words. I like the script though, as well as the rest of the fonts. I just would of eased back on the use of some of them and maybe thrown in one or two more. Also, I would have spaced out the dollar signs, used a couple more, or used different variations of them to give it more balance. There's a lot of little shit going on on the top half of the design. Bottom line is the joint's hot! Get at me!

i thought of madvillain too! that's pretty much where the name came from - i didn't want to just call it "wallet."

i think stndissue is right. the top is a little off-balanced fromthe bottom. there's a lot of condensed stuff in the upper portion.

and lastly, i tried the design out on all of the other color shirts, and the white one was the only one that really made the design pop. the chocolate color was my second option, but i just didn't like it. plus, like i mentioned, not a lot of white shirts get pressed up here, so i wanted to just go for it and see what happens with the votes.

as good of a song that is, the video is terrible. yeah, i guess it's like that. i don't think money was really where i was going to go with it originally, it just ended up that i could think of mad words for money.

i like the design, the white shirt (crisp, like a fresh 20 bill) , and the colors you used for the type. i give it a 4 (just because there's always room for more improvement.. don't stop now!) and say i would most def buy it.

5 This is way better then that Kevin Lyons jawn... I don't think fb copied it. LOTS of people think about money. The green in this is really fresh. but i'm with the spaghettio dude on this one. I ALWAYS ruin white shirts. I wonder how it would look if you made the black font white and made the shirt black or dark green????
