I agree with Frickinawesome. The dog needs to be on the front. I also think the kid in the ghost costume is detracting from the joke. His body language seriously confuses me. Is he trying to get candy from the other kid? Give him candy? If he's just there to indicate that the kids are trick-or-treating, I think he should be in a less active pose so that the other kid and the fire hydrant are the main focus.

Still, great idea and nice illustration and colors!

I like the dog on the back, the joke is completely understandable w/o the dog, the back image is just a treat (no puns intended). agree with zipple about the ghost, but 5 anyway.
