This design could be pulled off literally using any color combonation. I however, think that the design is more effective when the Text is lighter than the shirt color, and the base design is darker. This is the second version and I\'ve changed the placement as well. I couldn\'t figure out where the placement would look best, but I figure center chest is a little basic, but more effective than off center with this particular design. Thanks A Lot! Have a great day!

before i vote for this [and i like this version much better, by the way], could you explain the idea behind the 'all of the fame' text?

Absolutely...

There really is no meaning behind it. It's sort of like an inkblot. You read it, and infer your own interpretation. Besides, the design was really bare with no text. Sorry to ruin the fun, I'm sure you were expecting some in depth psycho-analysis from later chinese horticulture or something. :)

For me, the meaning is: I design shirts for all of the fame.

cornflakes... sorry... i'm not into the "interpret it however you want to". that's just a copout. I didn't go through art school being told i could do whatever i felt like doing and get away with it. you gotta earn your marks in school, and you gotta earn your marks here... 2

Despie the title, I read "All de the fame," so maybe it's just me and you need no corrections, but when people wear this t-shirt there'll be no title telling them what it really says. But again, it's probably just me since no one has said anything. It's mainly just the bottom part of the F that makes me see an E. I definitely like this version better though and how any color can work.

I read it to be "All de the fame" too.. sorry.. and the text isn't working for me.

Steve,I didn't see your first version but I agree with your intial comments here, where you said that you liked the lettering lighter than the tee and placement in the center. I agree with both of those things. I was able to read the text just fine but that's just me ...

Thank you for the comments guys.

Tanime - Contrary to popular belief, not everything has to have a meaning or ulterior motive behind it. I understand you going to art class and believing in emoting your art, however this is the direct antithesis of that. Instead of me putting all my inner angst or happiness or whatever into the shirt, I want the wearer/reader to put their feelings back in, like was aforementioned, like an inkblot. Not everyone sees it the same. Or in some cases, reads it the same. Hehe... I could curve the 'O' a little more to make it look less like a D.

Thanks again guys for all the comments. I appriciate you taking your time to comment.

I like this a lot better than the first version. I also like how you used my comment about the grey colors! Really cool, Five and Buy this. (In a few colors too!)
