Whenever movies get made, a bunch of artists and creatives are hired to create concepts for landscapes, characters and vehicles. With sequels this is especially necessary.

Producers are tasked with expanding a known universe with new and more appealing concepts. Maybe your favorite super hero needs a jet instead of just a cool car, or maybe its a weapon that makes even cooler explosions. This couldn't be more true in the case of Tron Legacy.
