Get rid of the heart. I have seen way to many tees with hearts on them. But just the monkey with wings looks cool.

mezo on Jan 06 '05 Eff'n GLORIOUS! The color scheme works beautifully as well. Also, depending on the maxi pad, sometimes GIRLS can have wings. Therefore, this must be a she-ape. 5 & buy.

really well done artwork. I really dig the destroyed appearance of the gorilla. And the word simian has always been a favorite of mine. Although i'd rewrite the text a bit before placing it on the design, it'd be nice if it were included. Overall, a standout. And the heart, it def. works in this design!

i think the illustration is BEAUTIFUL in its simplicity . . . i don't know that the heart is really necessary but i don't think that it really hurts the design either . . . i just question why it doesn't have the same distressed look as the winged primate? and if you did included the text, which i think would be cool you could put it on back between the shoulder blades so it doesn't distract from the illustration.

I've got no problem with the heart. Sure, there are a lot of them here at threadless, but heh....you don't have to buy a shirt if you don't like it.

awesome graphic. i think the heart could stay if you textured it the same way as the ape.. and as someone else said, if you include the text, put it on the sleeve. im still going to give this a 5 though... i love it.

i like the illustration--with the heart--but is the "worn out" look really necessary? i mean, threadless shirts aren't super high quality anyway, so after a few washes that's what it'll look like..

is it just me or does on back leg look like it's on it's knuckles and the other back leg is on it's palm, that should be fixed. at first before reading the thing i thought of monkey love

Real funky idea. Five and Buy. Great text, I loved it. Put it on the sleeve and ditch the heart. It takes away fromthe coolness of the winged-gorilla.

you def need the text, and the sleeve would be great... also the back wing looks a bit like a hand to me... maybe some tweeking... or whatever it is you designer folk do... but i want it... its great x

This would be about 100 times better without the heart. Also, maybe go a little bit less aggro with the faux-vector grainy effect. If you want to emulate a photocopier or whatever, I think you should just use a photocopier. They don't have to be vector images on here, do they? Also, one last note: the left wing (the creature's left wing)--I want to see it a little more pronounced and rounded. Like the other one.
Other than that, I think it has potential. |

Yes! Please, more winged monkeys ala Wizard of Oz style. Leaving out the heart would be good I think. And also, perhaps maybe a black ink option? The text is clutch too.
