no, the point of threadless is to have a nicely designed t-shirt without all the logos...

um. i give 1 point for the sewed lines and the thread analogy, but beyond that i dont feel this works.

I love how people who leave comments that aren't constructive have designs that aren't much better themselves or haven't submitted anything at all. Tshirt designs are much harder than normal graphic design.

What's up with all these submissions with 'Threadless' in them somewhere? I mean, yeah, this is a great site, but if Threadless wants promotional shirts, they'll probably just print them, and if I want a t-shirt with advertising on it, I'll go to The Gap or something.

Style of it is nice, but I don't want a t-shirt with the word "threadless" on it I'm afraid.

listen, if you can't take the critizism then don't submit you psycho.

I don't get it... to me the idea of these shirts is to move away from branding.

The idea behind posting this T-shirt is....

The winner from last year's competition had threadless on the T-shirt.

Anyone submitting a T-shirt with Threadless on it is aware of this and is too stupid to see that this is not going to happen twice....

geez. the guy trys to submit something he worked on probably fairly hard, and all he gets is being called stupid and psycho.

talk about constructive criticism.

i like it, it's just that the stitching isn't too real looking. it would be cool to make it look less computer (if that is what you are going for) and make the stiches thicker and maybe a shadow behind them..like they were sewn on there. oo, and lines...like cotton/ fabric lines like it was really cotton.

not that i have any idea how to do that, i imagine it's really hard.

good luck! : )

I like it. We should start a club of people like us who get bashed on this thing. Trust me, it'll take off hah :) Good work though

I kinda agree with everything, not that I'm sitting on the fence. It's a nice piece of typography, good shirt color. Wouldn't personally want "threadless" on the outside of my shirt though - how about "LogoLess"? Or some other piece of twisted humour?

its boring, and someone who didnt know what threadless is would be totally confused by the shirt; the attempt on the "thread looking" type is nice, but still wayy too pixelish.

I like it, just make it really tiny.

or add a good caption with threadless in tiny font somewhere within the text.

Captions: "doesn't make me witty"

"non-unique"

" told to wear this"

"frednesday"

"Reality T-Shirt"

matrix print and magazine font works, but threadless logo shirts are being done to death. it may just be me, but i hate this color more than anything else; maybe second to puke green and dirty orange.

Thank you those who are mature enough to leave some constructive crit. it seems that there are a lot of pissed off people who just comment some of the meanest shit I've ever seen. This is a design community, even whe n you don't like something you should still support the person for trying to do something. I guess some people however don't get the true concept of art. Like I said I'm a graphic designer and tshirts are very hard to do.

Mindtrance, for someone who claims to be a graphic designer, you're taking the comments of some random internet people pretty seriously. Are you this defensive if a client doesn't like your work?

And also, I'm not sure which exact comments you think are so mean and offensive, but I think most of the ones about the logo aspect of this design are valid critisism. We live in a society where just about every inch of physical and intellectual space has been branded. Threadless on the other hand, is supposed to be about creativity and individual expression. Are you really so surprised that a logo design isn't going over so well?

I offered valid critizism but then you found it necessary to "get me back" by saying mean comments about my old work which has already been scored. Thus you really need to get a way from the computer because you are taking this to a psychotic level instead of something that should be fun.

why help someone build a house out of matchsticks with "constructive critisism", when somebody else has bricks to build with.
