igo2cairo on Aug 15 '10 Kind of struggled with this one, but wanted to sub it before the summer was completely over. The original version of this had a completely different concept. I liked it as an illustration, but thought it didn't really work as a tee. So this is the concept I settled on, kind of nonsensical but I hope you dig it anyway.
Chinese foo dog statues are modelled after real foo dogs and are often placed in front of temples to act as guardians. They are usually depicted holding a ball, representing power. Thought it would be a funny twist to have one of these on a beach holding a beach ball instead. Sim process on creme or sand. Hi-res view of design |

jublin on Aug 17 '10 ha this is great! maybe my favorite of yours because it looks so good on the tee. My only two suggestions would be to lose the watercolor sky background and to add that blue in the bucket to that grayspot on the beachball.
those are such tiny suggestions, I only mention them because I really dig this tee. great work! |
