how is this a good idea? this is the t-shirt version of a tribal tattoo. you can't just take existing material, add "look at how badass i am" slashes to it and expect to be regarded as an artist.

I think this is pretty decent and completely valid idea, If it got through to scoring it suggests threadless aren't concerned with the copyright factor. I guess although it's obvious what it's supposed to be you could argue that it's not actually there!? Maybe?
