This is my submission for the TechnoCRAFT competition. The T-shirt itself is hopefully a design that can be worn and enjoyed by all in its own right showing the materialistic objects we like to call 'mine' and the growth if we think more about 'ours'. But that’s only the start!rnrnAlthough the interaction and customisation is limited in its early days, the magic starts to happen when it ends up at the back of the draw with all the other ‘old’ T-shirts. This design will engage and promote interaction at all stages of its life, going from a great looking T-shirt to a unique, reusable, recycled tote bag. You’re only limited by your creativity and it's YOUR interaction that will inject it with new life and recycle it in to something functional and useful, so feel free to hack and redesign, building on this basic blueprint to suit your own personality. Make sure you check slide 3 for a mock-up of the finished (and signed) product :)rnrnAnd don’t stop with this design, I’m sure there’s hundreds of old T-shirts being thrown out that could use a new lease of life!

I'm only new here, but what I've learnt is no matter how good you think your design is, the critique section is a goldmine for pushing yourself and trying (and learning) new things.

Yeah I was hoping to combine the task of engaging the wearer with and act of kindness.. in this case recycling and like you say, having fun while doing it :) Gotta think about the big picture

That's the cool thing, compared to others you don't run the risk of ruining it at the start.. it's only when you no longer wear it and it would be thrown out do you customize and alter it, giving it a new lease of life.
