You're on spotlight at Daily Spotlight

Oh gosh. This just might be IT. I think you've used the hoody format in a way no one else has in this comp.
And the back image should be Mandatory! |
i tought it wasabe lincoln and john wilkes booth at first glance, which would have been even better, but this is still a sweet zip design!
Great, great stuff. The illo is SICK and the colors really translates all the tension and suspense of the scene. A must print!
LOVE!!! I must have this! I soo hope it prints!
heheh I'm totally rooting for the chap with the black beard :) |
winner!... PRINT!... amazing, astonishing, awesome, astounding... Any more words that begin with A can I use to describe this? Guess that means you get an A++++ for this design.
HOLY CRAP!
I saw the thumbnail in ISABOA's blog and clicked, thinking I would probably $5 it. Then I got here and realized it was yours. Excellent work dude! Is there a $10 anywhere? |
I'm excited to see who wins this; there's been some many amazing subs--including this one obviously! $5
"Shall we say pistols at dawn?" "We can say it...I don't know what it means but we can say it." |
Did I mention tits?
TITS! I remember seeing your blog about this (before the tits) and thinking, "okay..." - the tits really add to the concept. This is pretty cool dude. TITS! |
Where's the "I'd buy it ... as a hoodie" button?
Doesn't matter, I'd buy it as a shirt anyway. And a hoodie. It will be on a hoodie because it will win the hoodie contest. |
stunning. If I were a betting woman I'd bet on the gentleman on the left. This has got an awesome chance of taking the comp.
I'm not sure I'd wear it (and this annoying stripey sun rays, ha !), but, dude, you got some amazing skills, I love how you draw your shades !
I cant believe the good stuff that has been handed in so far in this comp. This is the winner for me. 5$
Taking the hoodie concept to another avenue entirely, maybe a couple towns over in fact. Nice stuff all around.
I love the image on the front for a zip hoodie, but I'm not so keen about the image on the back. I would buy it if the girl was left off the design
the back has the feel and mood of the classic WWII bomber art.. even the rising sun with the girl - the 19th century twist makes it that much more intriguing.. just loaded with qualities
Wow; this blows my mind completely. I just love what you've done with the entire "canvas" of the hoodie.
$5 |
I had a dream that I was wearing this, and where ever I walked, woman spontaneously became pregnant, and the children grew up to be sexy astronauts and racecar drivers.
i think the only way this zip-up should be presented in real life once it gets printed is to do the jacket trick that bill pullman did in the movie zero effect. this is a definite $5 from me!
I was really hoping this would have won the Zip Up Challenge. Hopefully Threadless prints in any ways.
So if Threadless -- print, print, print!!! |
i drew it all in Illustrator with a mouse, with the exception of the background which was live traced from a photo of tree trunks in a couple of layers.
Love your design! Just a bit annoyed that the sizing-chart for this hoodie is incorrect. Had to send my hoodie back. Has emailed threadless about the issue but they have ignored my emails.
I'm sure they're addressing your problem if they can. They're good people. Sorry you didn't get the size you needed.
