Until I can buy my husband a real Mini Moog, this'll have to do. Not that he doesn't have a bunch of synthesizers already :). What do you think of orange? In my mind I had a lighter orange pictured. Perhaps on a red shirt would be better? Thanks for looking/commenting!

moogs on shirts are trendy, but wayyy too cool to pass off as not an awesome shirts. i absolutley love the colors. this is my favorite shirt ive seen so far.

moogs are great, i would like the color of the moog/shirt to be more like the colors they used on old moogs (brown/black/ some orange). i personally don't like orange shirts. and i'm not sure about the white zig zag line..

I hope you can get your husband a nice old Mini Moog. New synths are great because of new technology but there's nothing like the original.

I give it 5&Buy, because I <3 Moogs, and I look hot in Orange :D

Seriously. Can we not have such a formulaic design strategy for every shirt on this site? I want to see something crazy! I look at this and im like : shrug..another scene shirt for some black haired kid that loves moogs because thats another weird instrument that its cool to love right now...man, half you idiots weren't even around when that was used or know why it was used.

I don't think I would change this at all - I think it was probably better to use the minimoog model d than putting a Sh-09 or Prophet 5 on there... more recognizable, but not instantly recognizable by everyone. It's funny how they are popular now, I agree (especially when you could find them in a bin at the pawn shop for $50.00 in the mid 90's). Still though, those moogs.. what a sound. It's basically like a piano, right?

Thank you for everyone's comments. For those of you not sure about the color, red was my second choice. Thoughts on that? Maybe you'd have to see it. What other colors might you suggest? I'm a huge fan of green but I have always had trouble with orange so I was happy that this worked decently with orange. Derekandes mentioned the zig zag line. It was supposed to look like the electrical cord *lol*. Plus I am a huge fan of the three quarters concept in compositions so this made it more three quarters. Anyway, it's funny some mentioned that Moog were trendy, because I had no idea *lol*. Guess I'm out of the loop. I'm the photographer/graphic designer, my husband's the musician. So I'm more than willing to admit I don't know much about synthesizer besides what he has been telling me since I met him. He used to own a Moog, though to be honest I don't remember the type. Ever since he sold it he has talked about getting one again. he has other synthesizers: a JP8000, a Red Square, and a few others that I don't remember the exact names of (Access Virus I believe?) but I think he's always had a special place for Moogs. We looked at the Mini Moog a dozen times at a local synthesizer museum and priced it. But this was the best I could do for now. (I like the fact that it's analog. I'm still an analog photographer :)). This is one of my first submissions to Threadless. A couple people suggested I submit it, so here I am! Thanks again for considering it. :)
