Admittedly this design is probably only tangentially related to whatever Shutterstock had in mind when they put on this contest but being a good artist requires more than just technical drawing skill! One must also be well versed in the art of B.S. So please enjoy my attempt at validating my entry to this contest...

What I like most about photography is its ability to absolutely preserve a moment in time. How incredible is it that we can see and know what people looked like over 100 years ago because we have actual pictures of them! Such was the camera's power to completely capture its subject that certain cultures believed it was actually stealing one's soul! This is of course nonsense. Scientists estimate that primitive cameras used at the turn of the century could at best steal only a small fraction of a soul, much less an entire one!
