I like the text,.. I think the fact that it has the "old biology speciman photo" feel makes it substantially different from the one linked.

As great as BOtH Karnaf and Phil's designs are, I'm a little done with TMNT designs. I guess it's because of the recent flooding of them with the minimalism contest, but lets let these "dudes" take a pizza break.

I like the way you drew the turtles in this one more, but the other guy had it down better because he didn't add text.. and I don't think I'm going to like a turtle design anymore unless it's real clever.. I've seen too many of these realistic turtle with weapons/band mask scenarios

I'm sold on this concept, but if I can share my 2 cents :
The gradient for the outline is a good idea, but then you should not have weird standing-out random black parts, do everything in the same gradient (except band-masks and belts, of course). Also, that purple band-mask is wrong :p good luck |
