I like the imagery. But the smiling forest and fire don't quite match up with the title. I must be missing something.

The colour palette and technique is wonderful, but without your explanation, I wouldn't have understood what was happening in this scene. The giant's face seems out of place to me, but the little smile on the flame is adorable.
