Aside from illustration/graphic design and music, I'm also into photography, and I've wanted to make a photo-based design for a while, so the contest just gave me the ass-kick I needed.

What about this ? Well, I love black and white, obviously, but also, because I love dramatic lighting (some of my black and white shots have no other purpose of trying capture the beauty of light itself), doing something with ONLY ONE COLOR (that is white), seems to be best way to "paint with light".

All photos are mine, and were taken in France, Japan and Australia, hence the title.
