Lucy (You are Beautiful)

About the design

Submitted by thegoodpope on May 31, 2010

Created for Ryder Revolution's Minimalism Challenge.

Lucy was the name given to the 3.2 million year old skeletal remains of a fossilized Australopithecus Afarensis.

Lucy’s discovery rocked the world because she was evidence that walking upright (bipedalism) preceded increased brain size in human evolution (so you don’t need to be smart to walk upright.)

Done on fuchsia because archeologists believe that was her favorite colour.

Enjoy

I would buy this in a heartbeat.... one for me, one for my anthropologist gf who recognized the skeleton on sight... possibly snog anyone who recognized it just because I appreciate knowledge... But that all depends on it not getting printed on a horrible colour. Black, brown, grey.... yes, we have many black t-shirts. That's because very nearly everyone looks good in black. I admire your creativity, but fuchsia looks good on almost nobody.

indigo91

cool idea!

.... are.. are you serious about the fuchsia? How would they know that? o.O
