great illustration, but I'd agree that it would be better with illustrated gumballs. I don't really see a reason for the mixing of medias, but still a solid design overall.

What drew me to the design was that this was mixed media. I like that the gumballs are photos.

I think it looks top notch as it is. I would leave the gumballs as they are.

This proves how sweet the space race is and will always be! Love the mixed media here, works perfectly and the comfortable, respectful position of the astroman is different too. A great abstraction on something that really makes a lot of sense when you step back from it...and insert a quarter into the astronaut's body for a yummy gumball.
