OlliRudi on Apr 21 '10 good drawing, the box shape is a major issue though... you'll do a lot better here if you take into account how the shape of the illustration looks on a shirt!

Thanks. Well I did tell a bit about the design, it's made with India ink with a small Windsor Newton brush, the colors are on photoshop and it's a really absurd/strange representation on Jesus, religion and our animal nature...

Yeah it's true about the box shape, but when I did the illustration, I didn't have in mind to submit it as a design for threadless, but I tought that It can be a cool t-shirt to wear...

totally with Olli here... it's rare that I find boxiness works on a tee. But also like him, I really am drawn in by the style. The shirt is a completely different canvas from paper or, well, canvas. You've definitely got the skills, so I'm excited to see you get more acquainted with this medium, and hopefully buy something someday.

I like the design, very cool. The flashing 'Choose ME' hurt my eyes too much to look at it long enough to decide whether I think the design would work better without the box.

Tu as vraiment du talent et tes illustrations sont fantastiques, mais c'est vrai que le format cadré ne convient pas au T-shirt. Pas de problème, change ça avec les prochains dessins et tu seras probablement imprimé ;)

Personnellement, je ne crois pas que le box shape ne soit un problème, puisqu'en fait, il convient et s'adapte bien au thème religieux de l'illustration, en référence aux formats des peintures anciennes... Quoi que, maintenant qu'on me fait la remarque, j'aurais probablement fait autrement. |

Wonderful illy, but please lose the flashing type, it pulls the eyes away from the work. Remember your selling the illustration not flashing type. Great stuff.

biotwist on Apr 27 '10 then you got lots to learn bro, if you look around at what T's do well you will notice 99 percent of them around not squared. also you have some killer detail in there so show that off instead of wasting space with those little circles and whatnot

Exactly, 99% are not squared, I choose not to do like the 99%. Next design won't be squared anyway, because I want to do something different each time.
