This design is very nice!... but who got the original idea? you or the other?... I want to think that you did!

A decent design on its own, but paying homage to the video's elements while doing something completely new with it, as well as getting the emotion and sense of nostalgia in the video/lyrics just puts this one over the top. Excellent stuffz!
