very true. that's why putting a link only makes your comment look like an ad, no matter how sincere. and that's why you don't need to do it, because your name links to your profile and your work. the polite way of returning the favor by checking the work of those who commented on yours is the common practice. |

What is even worse, is the fact that it says you have only scored one submission atm, making your comments voteless ones, purely intended for self promotion. Hopefully that changes.

Why doesn't my profile reflect the designs I scored?
I scored many design since my inscription, and my profil said "2" ??? Anybody can give me an explication? |

In fact, my first inscription was in 2008, but I never use. Ireally start April 2010.

I have not found any clarifications or prohibiting the use of links in the messages.
because it's not prohibited, it's just common etiquette. HTML. We can use ... Why? if not for links? it has many other uses, like pointing out to a reference, a higher resolution file, other designs. always relating to the design being scored. the fact is that each submission page is meant to be only about the given design. for instance, your submission. every comment should be about your design, and no other. if someone puts a link to other design, it diverts attention from your potential voters. In my first submissions to the critique... it's supposedly accepted in the critique forum. just not on the submissions up for scoring. but it's still faster with a direct link! lazy! tell it to others too! of course. i try to give the same heads up to every person i see leaving links in the submissions up for scoring. Why doesn't my profile reflect the designs I scored? it takes some time to update. a day i think. |

i don't really get the appeal others seem to have with this, is looks like any of the hundreds of t-shirts with fairies on them, not to mention it's not amazing as far as pencil sketches go. this is a strong 2 for me
