Just a superbly crafted joke and piece of art. So well-realized I too thought Glennz not in copying but in same level of conceptual and realistic brilliance.

Oh, the flip flops might feel better for me with the theme if one featured the clown fish texture and on the other the fish head's sadder and less colored textures.

It's an awesome idea, and the shirt looks great, but I'm not too sure about the flip-flops. Not sure what'd I'd change, but they just don't look that amazing.
4 for the shirt |

Some good details in the explanation but mostly I just look at it and go "cool!", and that's enough for me!

About my design
In Australia we call flip flops thongs and they are a massive part of our culture. We also like to abbreviate every word possible and thus Havaianas are more commonly known as Havais’. Growing up in a small costal surf town, thongs became the most important part of my wardrobe at a very young age and remain so to this day.
FOR THIS DESIGN
I wanted to create two unique images that utilised the different strengths of each medium whilst capturing the two related companies look, feel and soul. (Havais’ bright, bold, fun, oceanic aesthetic and threadless’ iconic strong clean conceptual execution punctuated with an imaginative twist).
The two designs are linked using a shared recognisable colour scheme and the united concept of things being hidden from view (the sadness of the fish hidden behind a mask and the majority of the thongs design hidden by your feet when worn).
PS: the shirt design also looks great on orange and a variety of blues:)
FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
