About my design
When I think about the theme, "It's hard without shoes," I think about how far away everything must seem when you're barefoot. I tried to illustrate how to a lot of children, hopes and dreams of a better life could be like a mirage, something that is always out of reach.
The silver lining is that there are businesses like TOMS who are helping to bridge that gap between dream and reality. By providing something as simple as shoes to a child, they are paving the way for a better tomorrow.
No matter who wins this challenge, just the fact that Threadless is helping to raise awareness for a cause like this is something to get excited about, and I'm proud to have been a small part of it.
