This design is for the ‘Threadless Loves’ challenge “One Day Without…” sponsored by TOMS. It’s about change and helping your fellow man. How giving a gift as simple as a pair of shoes can change someone’s life for ever. Something so simple impacting someone in such a positive way- allowing them to achieve things not possible before.

My design reflects this theme by using a man (who needs no introduction) that lived simply, yet has had an profound impact on the world. He was a humanitarian and progressive thinker who’s first priority was the welfare of his fellow man.

I hope you enjoy the design.

cool design, but i'm not sure what Gandhi's carrying. is it just a dark part of the robe? is he carrying soiled clothes? I'm confused.

He's carrying a blanket and a book. They are purposely left vague so as to not distract from the point, yet to add some dark contrast against the white shirt, and robes. Also helps illustrate the angle of the the light source.
