 My name is hydEON. my real name is Ian Ferguson. I am a nomadic visual artist currently living in San Diego, CA. I am submitting this illustration called "Welcome to the Neighborhood". It is a 40+ hr drawing I have created specifically for Threadless. I would like it to be a three color screen-print (black for dominate design, medium tan banner, light tan smoke from smoke stack) on a cream colored shirt. This piece is fully inspired by my recent visits to Chicago and NYC last year. Chicago is my favorite city in the US. I love it! I feel very jovial every visit..I am heavily intrigued/inspired by the row homes and old world architecture found in Chicago and on the East Coast. This shirt is the shit! I sat looking at the HUGE version for a long time. I want to live there and picnic on the roof under the trees. I also like that there are a lot of mailboxes because it really sucks when you have a stamped letter and no mailbox.
If this design doesn't win there is a dangerous flaw in the scoring system... of in the people scoring. |

Woah -- that is an amazing drawing. The closer look is pretty intense. If this is printed I would prefer a different shirt color though ...
