I like the realism in the plant, and that it's not cartoonized like all the done-to-death mario shirts out there. I think it could stand to be "realed" up a bit more, though. The concept of a realistic plant chomping on a 16bit mario sprite is interesting to me, but that kind of changes the design. As it stands, the piece still gives off a sense of "seen it before" unfortunately, but is close to escaping that.

About my design
This is a reworked version of one of my recent designs. I have used the same artwork but with some additions and a new title. I felt I was not really finished with this before so this was just something I had to do.
It is still 8 colors on dark grey or light blue.
I feel it has improved, I hope you do too.
