It's very ... emo? I think simply because it is on black - perhaps changing the colour to something more ... colourful would help. Try adding colour to the design as well.

yummygrubs is spot on, needs colour otherwise it comes across as emo, unless you are emo, in which case you probably can't read this through your tearful eyes becuase your girlfirend just broke up with you...again. ; )
