It's very Tenniel-esque "Alice in Wonderland," which just so happens to be my favorite book ever.

v.calahan on Feb 06 '10 thanks all! To yellowbird : "Alice in Wonderland" is definitely a masterpiece to me! I used pieces of Tenniel for the litlle girl's robe, he's one of my favorites illustrators along with Gustave Doré & Crumb! There's some Dürer in there too (the beast's front legs…) ;^)
