"There can be only one"

The concept

Collaborations are already part of the Threadless history. There are several types of collaborations but we've never seen - or at least I don't remember - two designers battling each other in the same shirt. That's right, a fighting style in the same shirt!

The idea is quite simple:
Two - or more - designers choose a theme and each one draws its own version of the theme. So, they put all together and the final result are two styles, two different drawings, two designers in a single t-shirt. Imagine Alvarejo and alexmdc drawing an epic battle between futuristic robots and giant squid? Or Buko and Somni? Or Fatheed and Moss, ISABOA and Badbasilik, Santo76 and Aphte in the same shirt? Awesome, right? And this can be an amazing new trend! The possibilities are endless!

So, that's what we did:

First, we chose the theme: Threadless's Clichès.

We selected some of the biggest cliches in Threadless history and combined the characters in an epic battle, where "There can be only one". King Kong vs. King Kong, Pirates vs Pirates, FWF, Sharks and Unicorns fighting for a spot on the t-shirt!

Wencez did an awesome composition and he managed to make the whole thing look amazing with one single color.

I hope you guys like it and I do hope this idea goes on cuz we want to see all the Threadless designers joining forces and merging their styles into a single design/shirt.
